Leash Basics / Manners

In this class we have teaching our dogs to focus on his/her handler using patterns and foundation skills. We teach our dogs where we want them to walk, where we want them to look, and what to do in the presence of distractions.

During the Manners section of the classes, we practice meeting people and dogs in a polite manner.

With each level, we offer increasingly challenging courses to work through increasingly distracting situations/stimuli.

Using positive reinforcement R+ training techniques, we set our dogs up for success through a series of exercises.

Dog Boarding

Puppy Start Right Board N Train

Do you ever feel like you don't have time to train a puppy?

Puppy Start Right is boarding with positive reinforcement dog training. PSR is available for puppies who are under 16 weeks of age. Your puppy boards Mon-Fri in a home environment for 1 - 3 months and goes home for weekends. During this time, we work to teach basic manners, obedience skills, crate-training, house-training and socialization.

This is recommended (but not required) if you intend to pursue service dog training in the future.

Service Dog

Living with a disability is a daily struggle for many of us. Service animals can be life changing, providing much-needed freedom to their handlers. Service animals should never replace the use of technology or medications in terms of support or alerts, however they can assist us with many day to day tasks which living with a disability can make more difficult.

Whether you are an owner- trainer, are looking to purchase a puppy/pre-trained service dog, or if you are looking to adopt a rescue dog, we can help. We are now accepting Mobility, Anxiety, PTSD, Autism, and Diabetic Alert Dog Applications.
